Privacy Policy

What we collect

Contact form: your name, email address and message. That is all the form asks for, and it is only used to reply to you.

Gift card purchases (when online purchase is available): the amount, whether you want the card mailed or held for pickup, and any recipient name, sender name and gift message you type. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on Stripe's own secure checkout page. Stripe collects your card details, billing details, phone number and — for mailed cards — a US shipping address. We never see or store your card number.

Nothing else. There are no user accounts, no newsletter sign-up and no tracking of what you read on the site.

How we use it

To reply to your message, to prepare and deliver a gift card you ordered, and to protect the forms from automated abuse. We do not sell personal information, share it with advertisers, or send marketing email.

Service providers

A few trusted services help us run the site, and each only handles what it needs to do its job:

Cloudflare hosts the website, protects the forms with Turnstile (a bot check that does not use tracking cookies) and provides cookieless, aggregate visitor statistics that contain no personal information.

Resend delivers contact-form messages to our inbox as email.

Stripe processes gift card payments under its own privacy policy.

Links to other services

Ordering, delivery, the waitlist and our rewards program are run by other companies on their own websites: ChowNow, DoorDash, Waitlist Me and FocusPOS. When you follow one of those links you leave our site and their privacy policies apply. The waitlist widget only loads when you choose to open it. The map on our contact page only loads from Google Maps when you press "Show map". Our social links go to Facebook and Instagram.

Cookies

Our website does not set cookies. If we ever display a temporary notice (for example about a closure), your browser may remember that you dismissed it for the rest of that visit using its own storage — nothing is sent to us. If you choose to load the map, Google may set cookies within that map. Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie during a bot check. There is no advertising or analytics cookie of any kind.

How long we keep it

Contact messages stay in our email inbox for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry. Our email delivery service keeps its own delivery logs for a limited time under its policy. Stripe keeps payment records for as long as financial regulations require.

Your choices

If you would like us to delete a message you sent us, or to tell you what we hold about you, email us and we will do it. The only thing we may need to keep is a record of a completed payment, which we are required to retain.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change how the site handles information we will update this page and the date at the top.
